Sweet Scoops

Sweet Scoops is a sweat treats pop up in DC’s Union Market food district, it features an abundance of water ice flavors for friends and families to enjoy in the city. We partnered with this small black-owned business to create a modern and joyful experience. The creative strategy was grounded in finding ways to encourage folks to embrace leisure and enjoy the sweet life.

Our collaborative approach allowed us to achieve the business’ goals for launch and beyond. The design process began with the logo design. The Sweet Scoops logo is a bold and playful word mark – the double “o” has been fabricated to create more emphasis in the meaning of the word, as well as creating a pictorial image that can be used as an accompanying icon or brand element.

Everyone deserves a treat from time to time.
The Sweet Scoops pop up certainly turns heads with its vibrant color palette, playful shapes and quirky type treatment. Despite its energetic presence, the simplicity of the visual identity helps it to extend across the brands marketing framework seamlessly – creating impact for audiences.
